In the previous lesson, Unit Tests of Commercial Applications I, we began showing unit test source codes of real commercial applications. We learned especially how to mock the date and time in PHP. In today's tutorial, we're going to show how to easily test random value generators, database wrappers, and how to test larger number of exceptions using anonymous functions.

In programming, it often comes in handy to generate a random string. We use them, for example, as discount voucher codes, various email tokens, or as temporary passwords. From the security point of view, it's a good idea to make sure they're really random, breaking them by some update probably wouldn't be a good thing. But how to test a random output?
