Lesson 11 - Unit tests of Commercial Applications III
In the previous lesson, Unit tests of Commercial Applications II, we tested random value generators, database wrappers, and learned how to assert multiple exceptions. We'll finish the overview of the commercial unit test samples with today's lesson. We're going to show how to simulate a form submission, including file attachments, and how to compare generated images against the original image patterns.
If you use a custom library to handle forms, you can't avoid testing it. Forms are the backbone of web applications' functionality, and it should be guaranteed by tests that they are handled well. As an illustration, a simple test of the CheckBox form control follows. The control is represented by a class of the same name. CheckBox instances can be added to a Form class instance, which then renders and processes the entire form.

ict.social is a large database made up of manuals and tutorials, whose main goal is to provide high-quality IT education to everyone. We started out in the Czech republic, where we display roughly a million articles per month and receive plenty of gratitude from our users. Thanks to our successful establishment, we are now bringing these articles to the rest of the world.
Although we are trying to keep our content free of charge, maintaining the site is a huge effort for everyone involved. Therefore, some content (exercises and more advanced material) costs network points. Don't worry, they're really cheap :)

In this tutorial, we'll learn how to submit forms using PHPUnit, including simulating file uploads. We'll show you how to assert images with tolerance.
Buying this article gives you unlimited access to it forever. You will learn some more and help us keep giving our site maintenance which helps you and others get better futures. It's a win-win.
