Lesson 7 - Multithreading in Java - Mutex
In the previous lesson, Multithreading in Java - Semaphore, we showed the first of the advanced synchronization primitives - Semaphore. Today, we're going to look at another of these primitives: Mutex.
Mutex stands for MUTual EXclusion. It's another synchronization means for this purpose. It consumes less memory than Semaphore and doesn't need the Semaphore's ability to count.
